Based in St. Petersburg, the magnificient imperial capital of Russia, photographer Gennadi Blohin doesn’t need more inspiration rather than this fairy-tale city for his artwork. He has a connoisseur eye for capturing cityscapes, editing and manipulation. His multi-layered, monochromic images remind us of the movie Inception which charms the viewers with their mood, tones and textures. He manipulates the scenes of a city in such an extraordinary way that you can’t take of your eyes from the photo for a while. His fine art cityscapes are outstanding with their fantastic use of texture which creates a terrific drama. We fell in love his edition of Astronomical Clock in Prague.
