Düsseldorf, Germany based Christoph Michaelis started taking photographs professionally in 2016. Actually, it was a dramatic start, as he has an accident and he had to stay in bed for months. Because of that long period of boredom, he bought his first SLR camera. Let him tell the rest of his story; “When I was mobile again, I first discovered landscape and macro photography for me. I am looking forward to every opportunity to climb on my bike today and to search the nature for new motives. Later, the portrait photographer was added to my interests as at least as fascinating a field.” It is clear that he is incredibly perfect at portraying the flawless beauty of women silhouette as you’ll see in our gallery below. He prefers black and white for this kind of photography, we can even say they are almost monochronomic. He is very flexible and conforting during photoshoots thanks to his psychology background. As he states; “It is important to me that in every picture there is just as much of the photographer as of the photographer. That’s why I take time for each project before and during photography to be able to implement ideas and wishes appropriately. I owe this principle of cooperative working to my psychology education and my many years of experience in working with people.” Take a look at some of his magnificient captures and let us know about your opinions using the comment box at the bottom!
