Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and grew up in rural New Mexico, photographer Evan James Atwood‘s interest in photography started with exploring self portraiture thought a 365 project in 2012. This project prompted him to focus on visual arts with an aim to interpret the darker range of human emotions using his lens. Although his images would look like depressing at first sight, you can also realize optimism and courage. He expresses simple moments with a cinematic quality in a captivating way. Evan currently lives in Flagstaff, Arizona where he studies business marketing but keeps on developing his artistic skills by capturing impressive photographs.
