We have always loved pop-up art and are so pleased to see how Michigan based artist Thomas Allen taken it to the next level so brilliantly. He cuts the outline of vintage characters and releases them from the page of the book then sticks them in a new setting to spring the stories in life. This imaginative addition turns the books into creative art pieces. His minimal designs take the viewers back to their childhood as he uses mid century books and pulp fiction paperbacks.
