Your plate is empty? Well, no problem there, Jacqueline Poirier is going to serve you some delicious art. Jacqueline is an artist who paints incredibly realistic portraits of tasty food and she does it on eating plates. The amazing thing about these portraits is the fact that Jacqueline manages to produce such extraordinary details and impressive shadows, despite the fact that her canvas is made of porcelain. Of course, she doesn’t just paint on plates, but these portraits are her personal favorite. “I think they are my favorites because they seem to be the most realistic. They appeal to the masses and act as great conversation pieces around the table”, says the artist. It is estimated that Jacqueline painted over 1,500 plates by now, and with some of the restaurants already showing interest, the pile of plates can only go higher.
