Boulder, Colorado based Remington Robinson grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and he got a BFA in Painting and Drawing from RMCAD in 2010. He is well-known with his Altoids Tin Paintings Series. He takes an Altoids tin box with some paint and a paper inside and draws extremely small even tiny landscapes. He enjoys escaping into nature several times in a week and copies the view talently inside of a tin box. He also makes murals with his friend Jason T. Graves. On his website, it is stated that “In his spare time, Remington enjoys making music on his computer, playing guitar or mandolin, meditation, fishing, reading, writing and generally observing nature. The acute observation of nature and reality is of particular interest to the artist, because new insights into how it must be painted continually emerge.” We are definitely impressed with his tiny art pieces and wanted to share them with you. Hope you enjoy his art work as much as we do.
