Stunning Images of an Apocalyptic Cloud Covering the Sky Above Australia

You may think that this place, New South Wales, Australia, was some kind of a movie set and that these clouds are just the special effect in some apocalyptic movie, but you would be wrong. This actually happened few days ago. These stunning photographs captured the rare meteorological  phenomenon called a”shelf cloud”. This cloud is usually the very front part of a much bigger cloud that is bringing thunderstorms and heavy rain. People on social media started to share these images and made it viral, so the whole world saw them pretty fast. You can see that some of the photographers captured amazing moments such as the lonely ship sailing through the vast ocean while the storm is raging above it.
