Meet Qizai, the only brown panda in the whole world. This cute little fella was abandoned by his mother when he was only 2 months old, but he somehow managed to survive until he was rescued somewhere in the Qingling Mountains in Central China. His name, Qizai, actually means “the seventh son”. It’s a perfect name for this brave panda. Qizai has a brown and white coat and the experts are explaining this incredible phenomenon saying that it’s some kind of a genetic mutation. Well, whatever it is, it’s safe to say that this cute little rascal is one unique panda. After a horrible childhood, Qizai now lives a happy life at the Foping Panda Valley where he hangs out with hundreds of other pandas. This famous panda is now 7 years old and weighs 220 pounds and eats around 44 pounds of bamboo every single day.
