Jay and Carley are a creative couple behind the brand Malia Mu, that design and handmade knots to make pillows, cushions, baby beds, mats etc. Each product are designed to stimulate sensory play which is necessary for language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction. They have an interesting story for generating their brand name; “When pregnant with our baby girl Malia, our son Stacy nicknamed his new baby sister “Mu”. The name stuck. When it came time to name our company we decided “Malia Mu” was a perfect name.” and they define their products as follows; “We see each product we make as a piece of art. By putting extra effort into each and every little step, we have a hand-crafted quality product we are very proud of. Babies exercise to learn so many things: Grasping with their little fingers, tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling and walking.
