For her 44th birthday, Koko, the smartest and the most famous gorilla in the world, got a nice present. She had the opportunity to choose 2 cute kittens to stay with her at the Gorilla Foundation in Redwood City, California where she lives with her trainer Francine Patterson. Francine says that Koko can understand over 2000 English words and that she communicates with the trainers through sign language. Since she is not able to have her own kids, Koko always loved to be surrounded by cats who kept her company. Before these kittens, Koko already had a little furry friend who she named All Ball and when he died the gorilla was so sad that she cried for a long time. The trainers wanted to fill this gap in Koko’s life, so now she has two kittens to love. On these amazing photos bellow you can see how quickly they have become an adorable little family.
