Guinness Records have a new long-reigning feline king and its name is Omar, the Maine Coon of Australia. Omar’s owner Stephy Hirst said that her husband always wanted a big cat and Omar did always look big but they never knew he was actually the world’s longest cat until the day the Guinness Records have called them. After Stephy posted a picture of Omar on Instagram, he soon became famous and drew the attention of the Guinness Records. “Omar was tiny when we got him but then he just started growing and was at 22 lbs one-year-old”. From a recent measurement, this big fella came in around 3.93 ft weighing 30.86 lbs. “He sleeps on the couch… because he takes up too much room on the bed and he demands we cuddle and pet him all through the night.” As big as Omar has suddenly grown he still runs all of his daily routines such are: waking up at t AM, eating kibble for breakfast, napping outside on the trampoline, and enjoying some raw kangaroo meat for dinner.
