Shea Glover is an 18-year-old high school student from Chicago and she had an amazing idea. She wanted to capture how would people react if someone told them that they’re beautiful. We all react differently, of course, so did these people, and some of them you’ll be able to see here below. Shea had an interesting approach to all this. She didn’t simply said them “you are beautiful”, instead of that, she made them stay in front of her and said “I’m taking pictures of things I find beautiful”. That brought a stunning smile to everyone’s faces. At first, Shea did not plan for these reactions to be documented, but after some touching ones, she just went for it. “I conducted an independent project which evidently turned into a social experiment regarding beauty. I want to clarify that my intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result”, says Shea. Well, the smiles on these people’s faces say it all.
