Martin Stranka is a very talented photographer from the Czech Republic who thinks loneliness is not always something bad. His incredible work is showing us the better, more spiritual side of being alone. In most of his images, the subject is not quite all alone. Yes, there are no other people around them, of course, but we can see that he or she is always surrounded by nature and animals and that is the beauty of this kind of loneliness. In this scenarios, people are getting in touch with their inner self and accepting the relentless beauty of nature. This Martin’s project is called, “I Found The Silence”, and in this crazy world, that is exactly what we sometimes desperately need. “Being alone in the silence is actually one of the healthiest moments you can have with yourself”, says Martin. Often, when we are surrounded by other people, we are not able to be ourselves, but being alone gives us the opportunity to completely enjoy life in our own, unique way. Through his magnificent and surreal portraits, Martin is showing us exactly that. He is introducing the world to the better side of loneliness.
